Seeking information that could identify bank robbery suspect

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a bank robbery and asking for the public’s help with identifying the suspect.

On Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at about 2:46 p.m., a man entered a bank in the 900 block of N. Arbrook Blvd. and walked up to the counter and demanded money.

Video surveillance footage from inside the bank shows the suspect to be a white male who is approximately 35-40 years old with a thin build and tattoos on both forearms. The suspect fled the scene, driving a new model white Ford 150, regular cab with tinted windows.

Photos of the suspect taken from a surveillance camera are attached to this news release. The Police Department Office of Communication is also using social media to share images and expand reach in hopes of connecting with anyone who might be able to identify the robbery suspect.

Anyone with information about this offense is asked to call the Arlington Police Detective Dara Dewall at 817 459-5739, or Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS (8477).  All tipsters remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
